To help us prepare for the ACM Programming Contest and to help members gain a better understanding of programming, we are going to be putting up a few problems here that ACM members may compete over.
Programming Problem Rules:
- We will choose a program from the ACM Programming Contest database once a month.
- You will have the entire month to complete this problem using any resources you'd like.
- You may come to us or faculty members for math or other non-programming help.
- Entries should be coded in C++.
- If more than one working coded entry is received, we will judge on efficiency and readability.
- You may send in a typed pseudocode algorithm and it will be judged if there are no working coded entries.
- Winners will receive a gift certificate or some other prize scaling with the complexity of the problem.
